The Memphis Police Association is requesting the presence of EVERY off-duty officer at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.  You can bring family members and friends.  The more, the merrier.

City Councilman Edmund Ford, Jr., will be presenting a resolution that the City negotiate fairly during the negotiations sessions.  The MPA will be addressing the City Council regarding important issues concerning YOU as officers of the Memphis Police Department. 

Each member of the Association can participate in the success of the Contract Negotiations with the City.  There will be times during the negotiation process that your presence will play a key role in showing the city how important our issues are to Us  .Together we are strong, divided we are weak.  Help make the Association stronger and have a louder voice by participating, showing up to union meetings, asking questions and sharing ideas.
Let your presence stand behind the voice that will speak for you at the City Council meeting on March 4, 2008, at City Hall at 3:30 pm.  This is your future, so take a part in it!
