| Dear MPA Members, |
| As all of you know, the Association has started 2008 Contract Negotiations with the City. The issues on the table have never been more important. The future and direction of this Police Association and this Police Department have never been more in the hands of our membership. |
Given the climate the negotiations are taking place in; YOUR participation could be the deciding factor in securing the rights and benefits that all of us deserve. YOUR participation means the difference between being able to bargain from a position of strength or a position of weakness. The greatest power of the MPA has is in the vocal and physical support of its members. |
The deadline for Contract Negotiations is April 2nd. The support you show your MPA by making phone calls, sending e-mails, and being present at meetings will make a difference. |
